We found a Maine Coon cat on February 14, 2009 eating food in our backyard that we feed the squirrels. She was starving and when my husband went out to feed her, she did not run away. The next day we fed her on our back patio and she walked in through the patio door and never left. We put up flyers, but no one called. She is about 2 to 3 years old, was spaded and she must have been an inside cat, because once in our house, she never wanted to go back outside. She must have been mistreated and abandoned because she was so frightened to climb the steps to the second floor, jump on the radiator which is covered with carpeting by the windows and would scratch and bite us if we tried to pet her. Gradually this changed and she became one of the family, loving us as well as us loving her. We named her Emily Rose, but call her Emily. She is on an all raw food diet.
Knowing that an inside cat needs to climb, we started looking for a cat tree on the internet. We wanted one that was not made in China and after several searches and viewing different sites, we found your site. What a pleasure to find a company that makes their own product and right here in the U.S.A. Your customer service is wonderful. You helped us come to a decision on which cat tree to purchase. We liked the Kitty Delite, but one version was too tall and the other too short. You compromised and made it to exactly the height we wanted, 45", which by the way turned out to be the perfect height. We purchased it in March 2009. It arrived on time, was well wrapped and putting it together was no problem. Getting Emily to know the cat tree was hers was a chore. She would just ignore it, so we started placing her in the lower cradle, until she finally went in it on her own. We then placed her in the second cradle and once she was settled and knew it was hers, we placed her in the crows nest. Every day she would go in the second cradle and finally one day on her own she jumped into the crows nest. Now she jumps from the crows nest and the cradle to the radiator by the window and vice versa. She sometimes uses the chair next to it to get on and off. She loves it. She uses it every day. We have it placed so that the window is behind her and when she looks forward she views the backyard through the patio door. Thank you again for making such a quality product. I highly recommended your cat trees, along with your website to two cat breeders that we were in contact with when we were thinking of getting a Siberian cat. Getting a cat all changed when Emily came along.

September 16, 2009 Jeanne, Received cat tree this afternoon in excellent shape, and assembled very easily...really appreciate the outstanding markings for assembly...very nice job. beautiful product and workmanship. I'm sending some initial pictures right after we brought it in the house and placed next to the 3 tier tree they still love...on the sunporch overlooking the woods and all the birds and bugs. Will send additional as they stake out their cradles...ha ha. Thanks so much again for another excellent product. I disagree with your website which states They’re not Pretty! I think that once you stain them to match your deck and add a few cats, they are very pretty (see attached photos). The instructions were perfect and you could not go wrong in putting it together. It took me about an hour but would have taken less time because of the "wonderful help" I was getting from the kitties. They would hardly stay off it long enough for me to get it put together. This tree was a custom made tree exactly patterned from our old one. In fact, we like the new one better. We are very grateful to have found your website, cooperation and excellent service! It is holding up very well; they use the sisal post to scratch and usually one is on the top level sleeping each and every day. Shadow weighs 15 + lbs. and Smokey, our big-guy is over 23 lbs. and my one concern was when I was searching over the internet for a cat tree was that it would not tip over---this one has been run too and jumped on by both of them chasing each other and it has not ever come close to tipping-over. We recently changed our LR floor from carpet to hardwood and still there hasn't been any problem. The quality of this cat tree is excellent---it has taken a lot of hard use and I am confident that it will last for a long, long-time!!
